Secure Your Garage Door!

Image
Hi friends! In the Situational Awareness post below, where something like bolting your garage doors is mentioned, the pictures show it. Drill an appropriate-sized hole in the wheel railing at a convenient height above where a wheel stops when you shut the door. Thread a nut as far as it will go up a bolt with a shank plenty long enough to stop the wheel, and then tighten it through the hole with a wingnut for easy removal. Do it on both sides for extra security. Bolt it every time you shut the door.

Situational Awareness and Personal Safety Workshop Notes

We searched and added some information from other sources as well. Some of you may feel like this is overkill, but we put a lot of thought and some prayer into this and feel like it is valuable information. We hope you will at least read through it and honestly think about where you and your family are in this area of preparedness. Here is a pdf link for those who wish to print it: https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/review?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:6d6b18dd-4530-353c-8ee3-fc91968fb0af I am posting the notes below: Situational Awareness - Notes and Reflections from a Workshop Presented by Sgt.
