Portable Power Station Sale!

Ampace is having a great sale on their Portable Power Stations right now. There are many good brands out there but this is definitely one of the most solid and reliable. Like pretty much all of them, they have solar options you can buy with them. These are great for camping and for preparedness (The sale price doesn't often show up until you are checking out, but it does apply, in our experience). Check it out at https://ampacepower.com/

30 Hour Off-Grid Challenge Reflections

Also, a how-to section on raising chickens. With the price of eggs, you might find this helpful...and it's not as hard as you think, once you get a decent pen built (and you don't necessarily need a rooster if it would bother your neighbors). There are other great sections as well. Thanks again, Jarolyn Ballard Stout !!! 30 Hour Off-Grid Post Mortum: Remember about our post-30 Hour Off-Grid Challenge recap. You don’t have to have done the challenge to come learn from those who did. Come learn from our successes and from our mistakes (that’s what it was for!). If you did attempt the challenge, please view the Off-Grid Reflections PDF below and be ready to share! It will be a week from today (Sunday, March 9 th ) at the pavilion in back of the Heritage Chapel at 1178 S 700 W in Hurricane (...
