  Hello friends. Thank you once again, Jarolyn Stout, for this excellent newsletter! As usual it's posted in the "Back to Basics" section of this blog. It’s all great stuff. “The Doctor Is In …Dr. Mom, That Is” section has great remedies for common issues when outside medical resources are limited (or when you just want to practice common sense) …but gather the inexpensive supplies first! The timely “Real Life Lessons from Hurricane Helene” is full of great preventative measures we can take now for emergency situations. The “Preparation Smorgasbord”, to me, is a MUST READ…probably because I recently listened to LDS President Russell M. Nelson talk about preparedness here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4m2bAGhzJY . The whole message is wonderful, but from about 5:00 in to about 6:45 he clarifies for me the importance of being spiritually prepared, emotionally prepared AND temporally prepared. Spiritual and emotional preparedness are the highest priorities, yet we cannot...
