Emergency Heat

Winter is coming on and if there are any disruptions to the usual power or gas supplies, you will want blankets, warm clothing and alternate sources of heat. These pictured were on display at Walmart the other day. I would definitely get a hose and 20 lb tank of propane rather than the much more expensive and temporary option of a ton of those little green bottles. Here are the online sources:

Research options carefully, some are not meant for indoors and/or will require a window to be opened a couple of inches (especially the ones that double as cookers)!!!

You don't need the regulator for the simpler heater applications.

Check out any of the hardware stores or B&L Propane (or Freeway Propane if you're in Northern Utah) for propane tanks.
