So, we very seldom listen to the "evening news" as presented by that mainstream media. We have been disappointed by the lack of coverage, at least the depth and breadth of coverage, of things that we believe are and will be affecting us. Yes, some of the places we have found to get news have some politics or some religion, or some speculation, but when applying a little discernment you hear the same things from three or four different perspectives that are barely mentioned in "the news", if at all, you really wonder. If you consider the repeated words of warning by scriptures and by prophets, you begin to see a need to be prepared, both spiritually and temporally for the future not very far off. Yes, I have faith that better days are to come, that we are headed for a new and bright beginning. But I'm also convinced that far too many of us have our heads in the sand and are ignoring warning signs of challenges that will come first.
