New Back to Basics Newsletter Posted

Hi friends! I just posted the latest Back to Basics Newsletter on that section of this site. Check it out at the link at the top of this page. If you live in parts of Southwestern Utah and were awake at around 11:30 PM on July 28th, you probably felt a rocking motion. Although it was only 4.5 on the Richter Scale and a ways from Hurricane, it was a reminder of the presence of many fault lines in our area, particularly the Hurricane Fault. The aftershocks also remind us that there is continual pressure on these cracks that can slip at any time. In this latest installment Jarolyn Ballard Stout shares excellent before, during and after lists of earthquake preparedness. Also shared are timely tips on gardening and ways to preserve the harvest. I don't know about you, but I believe that the Lord allows more blessings to flow our way when we show a willingness to thankfully make use of what He has provided already. Would this apply to preserving produce from the garden, fruit trees and livestock? I love the implication of the quoted Chinese proverb "No food, one problem. Have food, many problems." Which would you rather face?
