Reminder and Invitation...

 Hello Friends.

This is a reminder for the 30 Hour Off-Grid Challenge starting this Friday at 4 p.m. running through Saturday at 10 p.m. You can read all about it on one of the many handouts we’ve shared, in one or two of the emails that have come from toddfurse@gmail.com, at https://www.facebook.com/groups/699066361344927 or at https://prep10hurricane.blogspot.com/ (scroll down the latter two for materials and ways to become prepared). Please pay attention to any warnings or disclaimers we have shared. We strongly encourage the highest level of participation you and your family are able to safely accomplish so that you can test your state of emergency preparedness (including bits of spiritual and emotional resiliency).

This is an activity for learning. We have tentatively planned an informal get-together at the Pavillion behind the Chapel at 1178 S 700 W in Hurricane on Sunday, March 9^th at 6 p.m. Feel free to bring snacks or treats to share with others (we hope a lot of people will be there). We will see what we can do about providing a zoom link for anyone who wishes to attend that way. We would like to share what we have all learned. Specifically come prepared with your reflections on the following:

-What part(s) of the challenge did we participate in?

-What do we feel we did well?

-What should we do differently or add to be ready for a real shut-down?

-How did we handle things emotionally and spiritually?
