Back to Basic's Newsletters
So, folks, I blew it.
I forgot to post/email April's and May's Back to Basics Newsletters on this blog's applicable page. So I'm sharing them today with June's.
May is a busy month for teachers and anyone involved in closing out the school year. I'm just a part-time ETS Advisor, since I retired from teaching, but MaryAnn was teaching and it took a lot of time and energy to close out the year. It seems like just emptying her classroom took up most of our spare moments.
I don't have any excuses for April. (By the way; a shameless plug here, as a summering ETS Advisor I am able to help with post-secondary education questions you or your loved-ones may have, particularly funding, certification, and other related issues that may help you improve your economic standing...an important part of "preparedness".)
So, stand me up in front of a firing squad and throw ice cream and toppings at me. I'll suffer immensely and maybe never forget to post a newsletter again.
These are all excellent newsletters with lots of timely advice (THANK YOU Jarolyn Ballard Stout for all your time and typing on these!). Wherever you are on the political, religious, economic, whatever spectrum, there will be something you can benefit from. Hard times and good times affect us all in different ways. So take a look and get some ideas so you will be ready for whatever confronts you and your loved ones.
Finally! I don't always post a lot on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/699066361344927) or on our blog (https://prep10hurricane.blogspot.com/), but if you have relevant content (good sales on emergency products, ways to process or store food, survival or ideas for times "the grid" fails, and so on), please feel free to share on either. My brain is obviously not as good as a bunch of you-all's together.
Maybe try frozen yogurt for the firing squad...that would help me remember better and it's less fattening.
